Over the past week and a half, we've been editing the first round of vocals that I recorded at The Gallery earlier this month. The process basically consists of me listening to every take numerous times, then choosing the best performance. This has never been my favorite part of making a record, but it's obviously a necessary one. When I'm through with this stage, we'll move onto harmonies, edit those, then figure out what else we need before we finally graduate to mixing. Ah mixing, that's usually much more fun. Anyway, back to work...
